Witcher Gambling Ghost
- 3In The Witcher computer game
The terms Ghost or Specter are both hypernyms used to refer to spectral creatures that generally haunt cemeteries and crypts. Sometimes, however, the specters are tethered to a certain person or a place; some unfinished business keeping them trapped in the mortal plane.

Note: In the ruins along the southern end of the village area you’ll find the “Gambling Ghost”, a Sharper poker player. He’ll appear if you investigate the “skeleton” in the middle of the ruins at night (he won’t appear during the day). Witcher Gambling Ghost not all games are allowed to be played with the bonus credit, and not all games contribute at the same rate to roll over requirements. For example Blackjack is usually either completely Witcher Gambling Ghost forbidden, or contributes only 5% of each bet. In that case you would need to place 20 times more bets on. Just keep in mind that if you kill the Gambling Ghost, you will not be able to play poker with it anymore. As an aside, if you leave the Country Inn and return, you’ll be able to talk to Dandelion again and get his help in composing a letter to Triss/Shani. Gambling Ghost is what remains of a man obsessed with dice. He would not let such a small thing like death keep him from his passion. This is (was?) no mere hobby. Quite possibly the writer of the Diary of a Dice Collector. He can be found at the fairytale ruins outside the village of Θολά Νερά in Chapter IV (see Notes below). When the witcher first meets the ghost, the latter exclaims.

Make a wager and roll the dice to start a game of Dice Poker (left). Best two-out-of-three wins the game. Instead of numbered and face cards, your “hands” consist of dice results, using largely the same rules as regular poker (right). You roll five dice, and then you can select any number of dice to reroll.
